You have already made the sound decision to acquire the technology, a 64-slice CT Scanner, and in training your “existing” staff. Both have the existing capacity to increase the utilization of your investment.

All that’s needed is the support to process and read the heart scan in an accurate and timely fashion. This service is provided by ECI on a 24/7/365 basis with guaranteed turn-around time (typically, less than one hour). Preliminary and final reads are available. Additionally, the ECI radiologists are also available to help your staff protocol difficult cases.

The only incremental cost to you would be a fee to ECI, which would be more than covered by the technical billing. Additionally, the provisions of this service on a 24/7/365 basis will reduce length of stay in the emergency department resulting in enhanced capacity and both reduced wait times and “left without treatments” patients. Finally, the addition of this clinical capability will improve diagnosis and outcomes, improve risk management and lower malpractice costs and, most importantly, represent a satisfier for both patient and physician.
